Acceptable Use Policy

Guidelines for acceptable behavior and content on the Coordinated platform

Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines prohibited uses of the Coordinated platform. This policy applies to all users: instructors, students, component creators, and visitors.

Violations of this policy may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination, and may be reported to law enforcement when appropriate.

Prohibited Content

You may not post, upload, or transmit content that:

Illegal Content

  • Violates any applicable laws or regulations
  • Promotes or facilitates illegal activities
  • Involves child exploitation or abuse
  • Involves human trafficking or exploitation

Harmful Content

  • Promotes violence, terrorism, or self-harm
  • Contains graphic violence or gore
  • Incites hatred or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
  • Bullies, harasses, or threatens others

Inappropriate Content

  • Contains pornography or sexually explicit material
  • Is excessively profane or offensive
  • Depicts minors in dangerous, inappropriate, or sexualized situations

Deceptive Content

  • Is false, misleading, or fraudulent
  • Impersonates others or misrepresents identity
  • Contains false qualifications or credentials
  • Includes fake reviews or testimonials

Infringing Content

  • Violates intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark, etc.)
  • Violates privacy rights or contains unauthorized personal information
  • Breaches confidentiality obligations

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

Abuse and Harassment

  • Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users
  • Stalk or repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop
  • Discriminate against users based on protected characteristics
  • Engage in sexual harassment or unwanted advances

Fraud and Deception

  • Engage in fraudulent transactions or payment schemes
  • Use stolen payment methods or identity information
  • Create fake accounts or manipulate reviews/ratings
  • Misrepresent qualifications, certifications, or credentials

Platform Abuse

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems
  • Interfere with platform security or functionality
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without authorization
  • Overload or disrupt platform infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code

Circumventing Fees

  • Attempt to process payments outside the platform to avoid fees
  • Encourage students to book or pay directly
  • Share contact information for the purpose of circumventing the platform

Data Misuse

  • Collect or harvest user data without authorization
  • Use platform data for purposes other than platform participation
  • Sell, rent, or share user data with third parties
  • Send unsolicited marketing or spam to other users

Malicious Code

  • Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code
  • Create components that contain security vulnerabilities
  • Intentionally introduce bugs or backdoors

Instructor-Specific Prohibitions

Instructors specifically may not:

  • Offer services they are not qualified or certified to provide
  • Engage in unsafe practices that endanger students
  • Discriminate in accepting students based on protected characteristics (except legitimate safety/skill requirements)
  • Have inappropriate relationships with minor students
  • Cancel sessions excessively or without proper notice
  • Manipulate pricing or engage in price gouging

Student-Specific Prohibitions

Students specifically may not:

  • Book sessions with no intention of attending
  • Abuse cancellation policies to avoid payment
  • Leave false or defamatory reviews
  • Record sessions without instructor consent
  • Disrupt sessions or interfere with other students

Enforcement

Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this AUP, report it to us at:

Our Response

When we receive reports of violations, we will:

  • Investigate the report
  • Take appropriate action (warning, content removal, account suspension/termination)
  • Notify relevant parties of our decision
  • Report to law enforcement when appropriate

Consequences

Violations may result in:

  • Warning: First-time or minor violations
  • Content Removal: Specific content removed
  • Temporary Suspension: Account access suspended for a period
  • Permanent Termination: Account permanently closed
  • Legal Action: Reported to law enforcement or pursued legally

If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by contacting:

Cooperation with Law Enforcement

We cooperate with law enforcement agencies and may report violations of law. We may disclose user information when required by legal process or when we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent harm.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Material changes will be announced via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
